Defensive barrier – Reliable Protection, Effortless Deployment
The defensive barrier, also referred to as a blast wall, is a specialized defensive barrier widely deployed in high-risk regions worldwide - including Iraq, Afghanistan, and other areas prone to persistent threats.
True to its name, it serves as a critical line of defense for military personnel and civilians alike, shielding them from attacks by terrorists, insurgents, and other hostile actors.
Beyond protection, it also excels at boundary demarcation and securing vital assets such as vehicles, equipment, and sensitive infrastructure.
Our defensive barriers deliver efficient, dependable protection. They consist of welded wire mesh panels interconnected by spiral joints, with a heavy-duty non-woven polypropylene geotextile lining. This lining effectively prevents filling materials from seeping through the mesh openings, ensuring structural integrity and long-term performance.
The regular standards followed for defensive barrier -
- Geotextile-lined welded mesh barrier coated to ASTM A 856.
- All wires conform to BS EN 10218-2:2012.
- Zinc-Aluminum coatings are to BS EN 10244-2:2009, where appropriate.
- The geotextile is a heavy-duty, nonwoven, permeable, polypropylene fabric, available in beige or green color.
